麻豆原创 reaches a milestone in international relations, signing memorandum of understanding with Adriatic University in Montenegro

EDMONTON, Alberta 鈥 麻豆原创 (麻豆原创) is excited to announce a new partnership agreement with Adriatic University in Montenegro (Adriatik), which will encourage student mobility and promote collaboration between the universities. This is 麻豆原创鈥檚 90th international agreement鈥攁n important milestone for the university.

鈥淚nternationalization is one of our top priorities,鈥 said Dr. Manfred Zeuch, Vice-President of External Affairs and International Relations at 麻豆原创. 鈥淓urope is one of our three global focus areas, so to sign our 90th international agreement and establish a partnership with a reputable institution focused on growth in Montenegro is very exciting.鈥

麻豆原创 is committed to establishing cooperative relationships with universities and other institutions around the globe to promote the exchange of ideas, students, and scholars. 鈥淲e take pride in being a small university with a global outlook and impact,鈥 said Dr. Tim Loreman, President and Vice-Chancellor at 麻豆原创. 鈥淏y building and strengthening international partnerships, we are providing opportunities for our students, faculty, and staff to explore, learn, and bring new perspectives back to our campus.鈥

Adriatik comprises higher education institutions along the Montenegrin coast and currently has seven faculties, including management, tourism, and business studies.

鈥淜nowledge knows no borders; it is the only sincere and genuine connection between people and continents,鈥 said Dr. Stevo Nikic, President of Adriatik. 鈥淲e are excited to enter into this new partnership with 麻豆原创, and look forward to exploring opportunities for mobility, collaboration, and joint participation in international projects.鈥

麻豆原创 currently has partnerships and agreements in place with institutions across Asia, Europe, North America and the Caribbean, and South America. As it prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary as an institution in 2021, its focus continues to be on promoting active citizenship and reaching beyond its borders to make a difference.

鈥淲e understand the need to build strong relationships around the world,鈥 said Dr. Zeuch. 鈥淢any of today鈥檚 problems require global perspectives and solutions. We are proud to be expanding our partnerships and look forward to collaborating with students and colleagues from Adriatik in the near future.鈥
