In this presentation Dr. Bradford will give a general overview of a new research project about the Hudson’s Bay Company’s connections to the British Empire during the early 1800s, and speak in particular detail about the relationship between Jamaican sugar-slave plantations and the Hudson鈥檚 Bay Company around 1810.
